You might ask the question, ‘where are the world’s largest casinos?’ Well, the answer is in Macau, China! The Venetian Macao Casino and Hotel Resort is owned by the Las Vegas Sands and is located on the Cotai Strip in Macau.
The resort officially opened in 2007 with 3000 hotel suites. It has 550,000 square meters of dedicated gaming space, 3,400 slot machines and more than 800 gaming tables featuring everything a gambler’s heart may desire.
The Cotai Arena was originally known as the Venetian Arena. It’s an indoor area that seats 15,000 spectators at various entertainment and sports events, including basketball games, tennis matches, boxing matches, live concerts and awards shows.

The MGM Grand holds the title of being the second largest hotel in the world and second largest in the U.S.

In 1996, it was time for MGM Grand to take on a new look and do away with the Wizard of Oz theme.

This however seemed to fail dismally and plans were made for the development of a luxury hotel complex, the Signature at MGM Grand, which would replace the theme park.

Further renovations were completed in 2012. This casino seems to be a constant work in progress. This most recent renovation amounted to $160 million and focused on the hotel rooms and suites, as well as the addition of a chic new nightclub and numerous additional restaurants to suit all tastes.
