VegasMaster has teamed up with e-Game Spectrum Magazine to offer inside coverage of 7th Annual the Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Expo (BEGE Expo) and Eastern European Gaming Summit (EEGS). Both events will take place this October 20-22 at the Inter Expo Center in Sofia, Bulgaria.
We received an exclusive interview with Primoz Bohinc, Regional Sales Manager of Intergames, a leading gaming supplier which will attend this year’s events.
Primoz Bohinc explained the reason Intergames considers this an important event to attend:
“Our main motive is to present our wide product portfolio to the Bulgarian casino operators. Currently we are intensively showcasing our products, so participation in BEGE will offer us an opportunity to meet all existing and potential customers from the region.”
Based in Slovenia and founded in 1998, Intergames supplies gaming equipment and accessories to some of the biggest casinos and slot halls in Eastern Europe. Intergames will represent one of the many gaming equipment companies to attend this year’s BEGE Expo.
When asked of his expectations for the exhibition, Primoz said, “As we are a newcomer on the market, our expectations are connected with new potential customers who haven’t had a chance to get familiar with our products, so they will be able to convince themselves on site about the quality of our products and the potential they have for their operations.”
So what are the newest trends in the gaming industry? Primoz let us in on his thoughts:
In our opinion current trends mostly apply to the change of traditional casino business to entertainment. We live in a changing world and casino operators will have to create new players/gamers in order to keep and grow their land-based operation in the future. Younger “IT” generations will only be attracted and brought to traditional casinos if they find high-end premium products equipped with latest technology.
Intergames also work in partnership with Konami Gaming, an American Company based in Las Vegas that supplies equipment to the US and Latin American markets. Both Intergames and Konami gaming provide high quality equipment and accessories such as electronic roulette tables, poker tables, equipment processors, gaming machines, monitors, counting machines, and touch screens.
Primoz spoke about his partnership with Konami Gaming and how the companies keep pace in a quickly changing industry:
“Our principals, Konami Gaming, Gary Platt, and Cummins Allison, leading manufacturers and global trendsetters of the casino business, are spending a lot of their resources especially for development of innovative products which keeps us in every moment ahead of the competition.”
Primoz continued,” We are regularly releasing new products on the markets, so it is hard to name them all, but if we have to point out the most important for Bulgarian market it would definitely be Konami’s Multigame feature Selexion and Community Played Linked Progressive called Beat the Field, Gary Platt’s improved ergonomics on their casino chairs and Cummins Allison’s iFX 1, 2 and multipocket series Note and Ticket scanners.”
